I created and composed various comics and comic art for over a decade while living in my hometown of Gainesville, Florida where my comic art was published in Moon Magazine, Detours and the Independent Florida Alligator. In 1998 and 1999 I recieved first place awards from the Florida Press Association and the Society of Professional Journalists for my editorial cartooning.
I also drew a daily comic strip from October 1999 to July 2001. I moved to California in the summer of 2001 and studied art, illustration and printmaking at the California College of Arts and Crafts until May 2003. Since then I've focused my art making primarily on screenprinting but also enjoy drawing in sketchbooks, shooting photographs, freelance illustration, and making matchbook-magnets. My art and screenprints have hung in various shows and coffeeshops around the bay area since 2004.
